Flame Lily

The Flame Lily otherwise known as the Gloriosa which comes from the Colchicaceae family. The flame lily is beautiful flower that has colours resembling a flame. The flower is currently the national flower of Zimbabwe and its native to South Africa and India. The plant is a climber like many other of it's Liliaceae family and is ideal for growing on trellises.
The Gloriosa is deadly poisonous especially if ingested it can cause stomach cramps, sickness, diarrhoea and death.
