Dill Plant

Dill Flower comes from the family genus Anethum. The dill is a herb plant which produces a beautiful yellow flower that grows between 40- 60 cm tall in height a very slender plant with broad leaves. The herb from the plant is used as flavouring with foods like samon or soups but in places such as America it is more used for pickling. Dill tea is used to treat insomnia and is quiet popular throughout Europe.
Being native to Europe the dill was used in medival times when people believed in things like witchcraft, they used the plant in spells and potions to protect themselves. The dill prefers to grow in sunny positions and will grow well in most soil conditions.
