Daisy

The daisy comes from the Asteraceae family. The Asteraceae or Compositate other wise known as daisy, sunflower or aster is the largest family of flowering plants. The English daisy which grows on our front garden lawns is known as Bellis perennis and is associated with children and innocence. Daisy is used as a girls name and Daisy Bell was a well known old song wrote in 1892 by Harry Dacre.
