Cultivation |
They grow best in full sunlight, but will tolerate partial shade. They need to be planted in fertile and well drained soil. Plant in Autumn and 8-10cm (3-4in) deep. |
The Crocus otherwise known as crocuses, originate in places such as North Europe, Africa and central Asia. This beautiful flower ranges in various colours of Lilacs, yellows, whites and mauves. The leaves of this plant have a central white stripe which runs from top to bottom.
