Cress
Garden cress is a member of the Brassicaceae family and like watercress it is used in many salads and used in dressings for many dishes. Both cress and water cress are ideal vegetables that children can grow in schools and watch the process of the seeds form into tiny shoots and develop into cress.
Cress is related to mustard and watercress which all contain vitamin C and vitamin A and however all share the same peppery tastes. |
