Courgette

The courgette otherwise known as the Zucchini which looks similar to a cucumber in size and shape. It can come in a yellow or green colour and is believed to be native to America. It is a member of the cucurbit family and a relation of the cucumber and gherkin. The Courgette contains 15 calories which is a excellent dietary vegetable.
Courgettes are used in many meals and dishes around the world and are used as a main vegetable in the Mexician diet today.
