Camellia Japonia best known as Camellia a popular plant that produces irresistible flowers of brightly coloured shades of pinks, whites and reds with sometimes a yellow centre. The fruit from this plant is small and contains around 8 tiny seeds. The Camellia flower is usually late winter to early spring. A native plant to China but hugely popular in used as a tradition in parts of America. The Camillia survives and is best planted in acid soil with plenty of moisture, prefers shadey spots rather than full sun light but as it gets colder will prefer to be in warmer spots.
