Brussel Sprout

The brussel sprouts are believed to have first cultivated from Belgium, hense the name 'brussel' being named after Belgiums capital. The brussel sprout comes from the Brassicaceae family along with the cabbage, broccoli and cauliflower. A small green cabbage like vegetable that has a required taste when cooked or steamed. They have a good source of vitamin C and other essential vitamins that have been proved to prevent certain types of cancer.
