Bristol Fairy

The Bristol Fairy otherwise known as Gypsophila paniculata (Gypsophila meaning 'lime loving' ) is a graceful plant that has double tiny small white flowers that clustered together give it a mystical effect. The Gypsophila is one of the many hundreds of species to the Caryophyllaceae family and the whole plant can grow from 5- 120 cm tall and is available all year round. The plant originates from central Europe and was and was first brought to England in 1596.
