The Acanthus Flower

The acanthus plant is a creative looking plant and flowers beutiful colours of pink, lilac and purple tinged. Although the colours are striking the leaves of this plant seem to attract more attention for there shape and shades of dark and lighter colour green.
Nickname for this plant is 'Bears Breech' and has been a very popular plant in Greek culture and history. The Acanthus plant has many unique features and is a fast growing plant which however can grow up to 5 feet tall and 3 feet spread.
